November 25, 2009: The Loop at Columbia College did a feature story on me. Fun

November, 2009: Mechanical Tide is now permanently installed at the University of Chicago. Visitors can view it in the lobby of the
James Franck Institute at 929 East 57th St.
September 9, 2009: New job! I am now a tenure-track Asst. Professor in
Audio Arts & Acoustics at Columbia College.

Third Coast International Audio Festival has selected
National Debt, for broadcast on WBEZ's weekly show,
Re:Sound. I co-produced National Debt with the amazing Robin Amer.
July 14, 2009: I'm speaking at the
American Library Assocation Conference. My lecture is entitled Many Stories, Many Options: Pushing Out Your Digital Content in New Ways.
May 15, 2009: Columbia College holds their annual Manifest Festival. Check out the
commissioned sound pieces I made at last year's festival, on
the Manifest website.
April 15, 2009: I am on a panel for the World Listening Project, as part of Columbia College's Art and Design lecture series.
January 15-March15, 2009: The Exquisite City at the Chicago Tourism Center features Favorite Chicago Sounds as the ambient soundtrack. The installation showcases over 40 local artists presenting their renditions of the city as cardboard sculpture.
March 3, 2009: I present my work at
Pecha Kucha Night #8 at Martyrs', Chicago.
February 26, 2009: Reception for my new, permanent sound sculpture at the
Chicago Children's Museum.
